Mr. Dorji Tashi is the President of ABAC, bringing diverse academic and professional experience from Bhutan, India, Japan, and Australia. He holds a Bachelor's degree in Nursing Studies and a Master's in Business from Australia.
Kuenzang Dema - General Secretary
Mrs. Kuenzang Dema is the General Secretary of ABAC with a strong passion for community service and social impact. She completed a Master of Social Work in Australia. Currently working as a Child Protection Case Manager and Dzongkha Interpreter.
Tshering Phuntsho - Treasurer
Mr. Tshering Phuntsho serves as the Treasurer of ABAC, bringing extensive experience in finance and public service. Master of Professional Accounting from the University of Canberra.
Pema Yogini Yuphel - Community Engagement Officer
Mrs. Pema Yogini Yuphel is ABAC's Community Engagement Officer, a renowned Bhutanese actress, youth advocate, and social media influencer.
Tandin Sonam - Sports Coordinator
Mr. Tandin Sonam is the Games and Sports Coordinator of ABAC and is passionate about promoting sports, fitness, and community wellbeing. He holds a Bachelor of Arts in English Studies.
Sangay Tshomo - Cultural Coordinator
Mrs. Sangay Tshomo serves as ABAC's Cultural Coordinator and is dedicated to preserving and promoting Bhutanese culture through traditional songs and dances. She has represented Bhutanese cultural heritage internationally and actively collaborates with artists.
Leki Dorji - Youth Coordinator
Mr.Leki Dorji is the Youth Representative of ABAC. He has completed master in Data Science and Artificial Intelligence.
Jigme Jamtsho - Vice President & Public Relations Officer
Mr. Jigme Jamtsho serves as the Vice President and Public Relations Officer of ABAC, bringing strong leadership and a deep commitment to serving the Bhutanese community in Canberra.
Phuntsho Kinrab Dema - Community Engagement Officer
Mrs. Phuntsho Kinrab Dema is a well-recognised Bhutanese actress and influential social media content creator. She holds a Bachelor’s degree from Sherubtse College and has recently commenced in a Master of Communication at the University of Canberra.

Ugyen Penjor - President
Mr. Ugyen Penjor completed his PGDNL with Law from RIM. He previously served as President for Dhayana Zhigtshog and have carried many voluntary services in events for Bhutanese in Canberra

Mrs. Sonam Lham has a Master of Communications (Strategic) from the UC. Having been part of the Bhutanese community for more than four years, she is deeply committed to fostering a strong supportive environment for the members.
Tenzin Dorji - Treasurer
Mr. Tenzin Dorji has a Masters of Environmental Management and Development from ANU and has 12 years of experience in civil service. He has actively coordinated the Drukpa Australia Association in Canberra and is committed to further serve the community.
Sonam Rinchen - Event Coordinator
Mr. Sonam Rinchen is a very active member of the Bhutanese community helping many people through organising various events and fund-raising programs. He has stepped up to provide further support with events to ABAC for the following year.
Migmar Tshering - Sports Coordinator
Mr. Migmar Tshering completed his degree in Physical Education and sports science and has previously served as sports coordinator in 2022-23. He dedicates his services for yet another year for the people living in Canberra
Tandin Zangmo - Cultural Coordinator
Mrs. Tandin Zangmo graduated her degree from Paro College of Education and Masters from UC. She has promised to dedicate her services in promoting culture among the bhutanese community in Canberra.
Tshewang Namgyel - Youth Coordinator
Mr. Tshewang Namgyel is currently a Diploma student in community service. During his two years stay in Canberra, he has volunteered at several Bhutanese events dedicated towards youth.
